We know that data per se has no significance. However, a set of data arranged in a sequence is an information. This information can be just a knowledge that can throw lot of light or speak a story about a possible event that has happened or may happen in the future. However, effective utilization of this knowledge in appraisal can be a skill that can differentiate an effective and good appraiser in their professional community or institution.
The credit bureau report is a potent tool in the hands of the credit underwriter to validate the information in hand from income documents and bank statement with loans taken, repayment behaviour of those loans and loan enquiries seen in the immediate past.
It is important to know that this module on Basics of Credit Bureau Report will help you to understand the way data has been presented and skills you need to interpret the data so that you can take meaningful credit decision in approving a loan.
